R. Chavez Ambassadors

Interested in getting involved with empowering Latinidad on campus? Named after Richard L. Chavez, the Richard Chavez Ambassador Program is a volunteer-based initiative for student leaders to increase the awareness of La Casa, and outreach of Latine students, by meeting them where they are at and providing opportunities of engagements with La Casa and peers. 

Founded in Fall 2022 as a powerful volunteer leadership position, the Richard Chavez Ambassador Program is committed to preserving, promoting, and securing our shared history and future for La Casa Cultural Latina while advancing & promoting Latinidad. As an ambassador for La Casa, your role is to be a catalyst for change and a bridge within our community. You are a representative of our mission, dedicated to preserving and promoting our history while shaping a brighter future for all students. You will actively engage with peers, fostering an inclusive environment where every voice is valued and heard.

Our ambassadors strive to engage and connect with more students, inviting them to actively participate in our vibrant community and space. As advocates for our peers, R. Chavez Ambassadors support La Casa's mission by informing students of the valuable resources and opportunities available to them, ensuring that every voice is heard and represented in our community. Together, we will uphold the values of inclusivity, cultural awareness, and student advocacy, strengthening La Casa and enriching the experiences of all.
