Desde 74 Mentorship | Desde 74 is La Casa’s mentorship initiative, reintroduced in Fall 2024, and rooted in our longstanding commitment to mentorship since our founding in 1974. Desde 74 approaches mentorship through alumni engagement, first-year mentorship, outreach to future Illini, and the empowerment of our upperclassmen to serve as mentors.
